OPLAN Biyaheng Ayos Undas 2019; PMO MOC issues SOP for all OPLAN activities

The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro has once again implemented the Oplan Biyaheng Ayos that will run from 25 October to 04 November 2019, covering the Port of Cagayan de Oro and Terminal Ports in Camiguin and Balingoan, to ensure the security, safety, convenience, and comfort of the sea-going passengers for the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Advanced tech security cameras to be installed at CDO Port’s PTB

Advanced technology of surveillance cameras will be installed in 16 PPA ports nationwide, including the Port of Cagayan de Oro in its Passenger Terminal Building.


Representatives from the service provider, Beyondsight Intelligent Surveillance Center, conducted an orientation before the PMO MO/C’s Port Manager, personnel from the Port Police and Engineering Divisions, IT team, PTC supervisor, among others on 25 October 2019.

Envi Summit 2019: DENR-EMB honors agency partners; lauds PMO MOC

The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Region 10 during the opening ceremony for the DENR’s two-day annual Environmental Summit on 16 October 2019 at N Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

CDO Port to ban entry of hogs and pork products

Following the recent African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak in the Philippines, the City Government of Cagayan de Oro issued a temporary total ban of entry of hogs and all pork products in the City per Executive Order No. 169, s.2019. In view thereof, the Port of Cagayan de Oro, as one of the entry and exit points of Cagayan de Oro and the Misamis Oriental Province, is also set to implement the total banning of said products from entering and leaving the Port.
